Learer, 64, Stricken During Duty at Chelsea Gospel Tent

Learer, a 64 year old watchman residing on Maverick Street Chelsea, collapsed from an apoplectic fit while on duty at the gospel tent on Warren Avenue and Clarendon Street. He was taken to City Hospital where his condition was reported serious.

Missing $47 and a house helper in Boston

Mrs Jenny Tracy of 163 Emerson Street reported to Station 12 last night that she missed 47 dollars and Nellie Murray a 10 year old girl from 8 Bay State Place who had been helping with the house. Police located Murray later but did not reveal whether the money was recovered. Local forecast for Boston and vicinity calls for fair weather with southwest winds Wednesday.
