Child Drowns In Back Door Water Tub
An infant of 16 months, son of Mr Leggett, a plasterer, drowned in a tub of water near the back door. The mother, nearby, found the child’s frock floating and its head under water after 10 to 15 minutes. The fall is blamed on the child reaching for a floating object and losing balance in the tub. Springfield Illinois Register reports this Aug. A incident.
