John Morton known as Baltimore Jim, William Burke, and Joseph Murphy arrested to break up a Boston area gang of thieves and burglars. Ralph Kelly and Edmund Crockett in custody for receiving stolen property. Rings recovered include a $60 solitaire ring and a $20 gold pearl ring, with inscribed markings altered. Cassey Bradley arrested for receiving a ring. Morton identified as the would-be robber of Mrs Wales and other Dorchester homes. Officers expect more stolen property and link Morton's crimes to Somerville Brookline and the Highlands. Victims urged to report to Station Three for identification of property and suspects.

Drowned man found on Great Brewster Island
The body of James M. Robinson, who with two others drowned in the harbor from a dory three weeks ago, was found yesterday on the Great Brewster by Barber of the island.
