Fall River southpaw Klobedanz held New York hitters to three hits as Seymour and the Giants contested a 1 to 0 victory before 3000 spectators. Rain scattered crowds while both sides committed a single error in a clean pitching duel.
Boston pitcher Klebedanz held off New York hitters as the Giants were stifled through seven scoreless innings. Tiernan finally reached base for the visitors, but Klebedanz sealed a 1-0 Boston victory with calm, overpowering pitching and sharp fielding. Spectators filled the stands as Seymour silenced the Giants with his curve and command.

North Adams Aug 10 The Webster avenue double murder inquiry continued before Associate Justice Woodhead with detectives tracing clues. A Concord buggy and a man named Leon, plus Horace Lanfair, are tied to Reed’s loans and movements. Witnesses describe late sightings of Reed and dispute ownership of a mallet found at his home.
The bodies of Henry Reed and Blanche M Reed were brought from North Adams and buried in the family lot without public service. The victims were well known in the area and several relatives of prominence reside nearby.
