Trades Unions Considered as the Workingman's Solution
In Prymours Aug 10 report Professor H C Adams outlines unions as distinct from guilds arguing unions arose to balance labor and capital. He notes wage bargaining, stealthy conspiracy laws, and how unions can raise wages by strengthening labor, potentially affecting profits and driving centralization of business. Dr Adler then lectures on ethical teaching to children, covering justice, property rights, truth telling, charity, and the duties owed to others including animals.
