Evarts Heads to Paris Before Court of Arbitration Reassembly

William M Evarts travels to Paris today and will return before the Court of Arbitration reconvenes next Wednesday. Caleb Cushing and Mr Waite plan Chamounix visits during the adjournment. American representatives reportedly finished their case, while the English prepare their reply. The Tribunal group dined at Hotel des Bergers with forty guests. J Bancroft Davis was absent. the gathering was informal.
