The Northern Baptist convention considers a pension plan to fund annuities for New England clergymen who retire due to age or illness. If realized, an annual fund near $180 000 would support these retired pastors. Continued on Page 2-Sixth Column.

Aviator Harry Atwood fell 200 feet into Lake Erie when a lower plane broke during a Sandusky to Lorain flight. Witnesses, farmers on the beach, alerted Vermillion who sent two motor boats. Atwood clung to the wreck, swam to the machine, and was rescued as doctors treated him. The damaged aircraft was towed into Vermillion harbor.
