Fight For Life With Burglar In Roxbury Home
Charles L. Pettee of 69 Warwick Street Roxbury fought for his life when a burglar broke in late last night. Patrolman Davis arrived after Pettee shouted and captured the intruder Thomas E Place 22 of 801 Huntington Avenue. Place had silver watch five gold rings cigars and bric a brac in his possession. The struggle lasted over 15 minutes until Pettee locked the burglar in a small room and he was booked for breaking and entering and larceny.
