Two men were treated at Emergency Hospital for mysterious assaults. J Broderick of Rochester street, an Armstrong Transfer Co employee, received nine stitches after a woman struck him with a sling shot near South station at 3 am Sunday. E L Martin of 41 Carver street arrived with a severed arterial wound in his right forearm, claiming a razor injury but giving no details.
