Vitriol Attack Arises From Lovers Quarrel in Lynn
In Lynn two young workers, Thomas Kelcher and Susie Denehy, are central after a vitriol assault at 15 Logan Street. Kelcher, badly burned, says Denehy threw the acid in anger over a lovers quarrel. Denehy claims it was accidental while they argued about his leaving her. Denehy, 23, and Kelcher, 24, are described as having recent trouble over his attentions. In a separate incident bartender John H. Conners was stabbed by James Sexton at the Grand Central Hotel. Sexton was arrested and Conners hospitalized.
