Man fires shots through partition injuring partner

John H. McCarty, 23, a bicycle dealer at 811 Columbus Ave, shot partner Thomas E B Hayde, 132 Sterling St, while he slept in their shop. Hayde survived with non serious wounds to neck and shoulder. McCarty claimed it was accidental and was arrested after hiding the revolver.
