Policeman Pleads Guilty in Rhoads Theft Case
New York police officer Thomas F. O’Brien admitted guilt to grand larceny in the second degree for stealing a gold watch chain and two charms from the corpse of Captain George B. Rhoads of the Seventh Regiment. Rhoads was killed by an electric car on June 10 at East 133rd Street. He will be sentenced tomorrow.
