Cars of sugar leave yards in Charlestown
E. R. Sherburne Company 18 cars containing 780000 pounds of sugar were found missing from the Charlestown freight yards of the Boston and Maine. Officials noted most cars had been reconsigned and that the sugar was likely headed to local points. DOJ agents visited the yards amid probe of alleged sugar profiteering but offered no comment.
