Robbery Suspects Apprehended After Court House Incident
Inspector Conboy and John McCarthy captured the woman in the court house corridor while Mullen resisted, assaulting court house staff and tearing clothing. He fled onto Somerset street and into a department store driveway where a citizen was struck. Inspector Towle contained Mullen on the second floor after a chase, where the pocketbook stolen earlier is said to have been disposed. Both suspects face a robbery charge.
