Senate action on railroad amendments and session close orders

In the Senate, papers were disposed of, an amendment to the Saugus Branch Railroad modified stock requirements, petitions from Lynn Beach and Medford considered, and a plan to end the session debated. Bills on West Roxbury, Stoneham fire department, and rail passengers were ordered engrossed. Mattapoisett and Sippican bills discharged, amended, laid on table. the rules bill advanced to third reading. session adjourned to tomorrow at 1:00.
