Mixed fish catch dip at harbor market opens
Eight small trips yielded 79 700 pounds of mixed fish, with haddock 7000 pounds, cod 51 500 pounds, pollock 1 500 pounds and cusk 7 000 pounds. A larger fleet expected at 7 o'clock. Fog hindered harbor navigation as ferries and coastwise steamers contended with reduced visibility. The Admiral Sampson and Boston from Yarmouth brought foreign cargo and passengers, while vessel movements included the C B Wood sale and the Hampshire barge conversion project.
