Drill explosion wounds Kingston worker at Old Colony Railroad
On Thursday last, William Welch tried to drill a charge in a ledge at Kingston when it exploded, severely wounding his hands and cutting his face. The drill knocked down two other men with no serious injuries. William Davis, twice convicted of felony, remains confined as he serves his prison term, attempting to escape from the New York state prison for two years at the Alexander Hoag facility.
