Electric Car Blockade Ties 100 West End Cars in Charlestown

In Charlestown yesterday, no fewer than 100 West End railroad cars were halted unable to cross Warren bridge when a bridge drawer broke. The incident began mid afternoon and cost about an hour before repairs. A second wheel failure caused further delays until Superintendent Studley of the Sixth Division arrived and rerouted cars to minimize stoppage.
