Mrs Kate Dow wife of Carl Dow and daughter of ex mayor Charles Adams of Melrose will submit to interrogation today in the Wakefield police murder case of Patrolman James Preston. Motor man crushed to death on Willow Bridge

Daniel J. McAlinden a 35 year old motor man for the Boston Elevated died after being crushed between two company cars on Willow bridge West Somerville. He died moments after reaching Somerville Hospital. The accident occurred while he stood between cars changing a trolley as air escaped from a second car and it moved on its own. Passengers on the bridge witnessed the tragedy and many women became hysterical.

Woman Plunges Into River Rescued by Daring Longshoreman

Youth sought after brutal assault on Dorchester maid

In Southampton street a 50 year old maid Miss Margaret Murray was brutally beaten and robbed by a youth as she walked home from church. She has skull fractures and facial and body injuries and is in City Hospital in a conscious condition. Police describe a 17 year old suspect and continue searches aided by a scene clue.
