In Brockton on April 25 H C Allen a long time resident received a visitor claiming to act for a dying friend. The man said four youths robbed Allen’s hen roost about twenty years ago taking four fowls and offered $10 to atone. Allen could not recall the incident but the stranger pressed the payment as reparation.
Secretary Lamont swapped the board members in session at Springfield Massachusetts to remove grounds for criticism by inventors submitting arms for test. The testing period is extended by one month and the board’s report is due.
Last evening members of St Marys branch of the Irish National Federation met at their Endicott street ball. One hundred members were enrolled and a substantial sum subscribed. Arrangements for a public demonstration next Sunday evening at their Stiliman street halon were made.
