Roundtree to Face Sentence in Annie White Murder Case
Sylvester Roundtree, indicted at the January term for the murder of Annie White on December 12, is slated for sentencing tomorrow. He faced four counts with a not guilty plea, and it is expected he will plead guilty to second degree after a likely plea deal with the district attorney. Both came from Norfolk, Virginia, where they were lovers. He bought a revolver after their disputed plan to move to Woburn, and shot White at Mrs. Mitchell's Bradford Street boarding house, killing her instantly.
