The Sourer, Dorchester Yacht Club’s leading jib and mainsail, sold yesterday to a Columbia Yacht Club member. Clara, Walter Burgess’s new sloop, was raced around the Cape and hosted guests on board. Perkins and Munroe sailed Julia with friends, and M. J. Hickey sold Reverie to Boothbay buyers, replacing it with a forty-foot Cape boat named Tourist. Harbinger and Adolph of Savin Hill rode Dorchester Bay under reefed sails while the cape cat outpaced the skeeters. Councilman Codman led a crowd to Hull aboard Naiad. Nokomis, under L. M. Johnson, returned from Marblehead.
