Patriots' Day Observed In Arlington With Program And Parade

Arlington celebrated Patriots Day with bells at sunrise and a 9 a.m. program in Town Hall featuring public school children directed by Miss Sarah Phelps and Miss Alice Homer. Theresa L. Kidder delivered a stirring reading. The afternoon parade included veteran firemen from Arlington Cambridge and Waltham, under the Arlington Veteran Fireman's Association. An illustrated Town Hall lecture by Edward McGlenen closed the day under the Arlington Historical Society.
