Fear and vigil remain in Boston Chinatown after the murder of Donald S. Dunn, a law student and son of a Shanghai shipbuilder. Police patrols in plain clothes and uniformed units arrest ten suspects as authorities seek to prevent a repeat of earlier Tong war violence.
Alexander Koekoek a 35 year old resident of 137 Hichborn street Revere was pinned under a small U S mail motor truck after it overturned in a collision with an Eastern Massachusetts Railroad car at Beach and Shirley avenues. Passengers on a passing trolley lifted the truck to free him he crawled out and was taken to a nearby physician then Chelsea Memorial Hospital with injuries to his right arm and leg
Ice in Lake Sunapee measures 21 inches as a gale drives it to move. P. Taylors boathouse is destroyed and several wharves are wiped out. Lake level has risen about four feet after recent thaws and rains, with more damage expected before ice clears.
Dublin April 18 An official report says the Celbridge barracks in County Kildare, used as Irish Republican Army headquarters, endured a prolonged assault Monday evening. Civilians in cars fired on the building for about an hour. guards fired back. Wall scaling attempts caused casualties among attackers. one guard was lightly wounded. An IRA despatch rider in uniform was shot near Rathmines. Tramcars were halted and searched by armed men using a car. The Beggars Bush HQ says the car belonged to Rod erick O Connor, a dissident IRA leader.
Genoa dispatch reports that the Reparations Commission will declare the Russo German treaty void. The Genoa correspondent notes Allied representatives condemned the pact and warned against weakening Germany by treaty. The story references London reports dated April 18 and mentions the Genoa meeting.
A 95 year old resident of Wayland Benjamin Range was granted an automobile license today in Bath New York. Range stated he will drive his own car.

Charles Lawrence and a companion fell from a raft in Clear Pond Lakeville after a collision with a submerged object. Lawrence struck his head and drowned, while the companion was rescued.
Two Lakeville boys William Higgins 12 and Charles Lawrence 12 drowned when a raft at Clear Pond collapsed while they swam ashore. Their brother Robert Higgins 10 escaped by grabbing a loose plank and reaching shore.
Judge Joseph J. Murley longtime East Boston attorney and nine year East Boston District Court associate justice died after a two week throat infection. A Boston University law graduate and former state representative he led Knights of Columbus activity and is survived by his mother and two sisters. Funeral set for Saturday at Sacred Heart Church with solemn high mass at 9 o clock.
