Malden Woman Drowned In Marsh At Park

Mrs. Catherine Holland aged 7 years was found dead in a marshy pool at Craddock Park Malden yesterday morning about eight. Police removed the body from the water and it was taken to Undertaker Tipham's rooms where Medical Examiner Durrell ruled drowning as the cause. She lived with son in law Jeremiah Mahoney at 181 Pearl Street and often stayed with daughter Mrs. Thomas Long at 2 1/2 Pearl Street. She left Long's home Monday evening about 8 30 presumed for Mahoney's residence. The police think she wandered from the road and fell into the water unable to recover.

Coronet Soloist Drops Dead At Grand Opera House

William C. Kaine cornet soloist with the Grand Opera House orchestra collapsed and died of heart disease just as the performance was to begin. He had joined the company two seasons and left a wife and child in Vermont.
