He is charged with larceny of six Waltham watches valued at 120 dollars from Freeman H. Kendall of 830 Washington Street where Swasey was employed. It is alleged he took the watches to show them but pawned them.
Michael O'Brien and Matthew Sullivan, iron workers, sought aid at Emergency Hospital after a clash that left them bleeding. Dr Waugh sewed wounds described as scalp injuries. Friends conveyed that the attackers were men with a club. Victims returned home bandaged and vowed vengeance.
