Augustus Warren of 289 Emerson Street South Boston, 54, killed himself by inhaling illuminating gas in a Causeway Street lodging yesterday. The body was sent to Tinkham's undertakers for examination. A friend identified him, noting unemployment and despondency. A sealed note to Rev. Shields and Warren’s address for the clergyman were found. The widow was informed and comfort sought.

Drowned man found in Harlem mud flats
