James A MecGinness known as James A Bailey died leaving an immense fortune chiefly from Barnum Bailey Buffalo Bill and Forepaugh Sells interests. He rose from water boy to circus master and took the Bailey name from a benefactor. He helped Jumbo and invented key circus feats. He left a widow and a brother noted for philanthropy.
