Freedom of the Charlestown bridges delays eyed past May first

Aged Lancaster tragedy and other news appear in brief. The City Advertiser questions the delay of Charlestown bridge freedom beyond May 1, 1858. In Lancaster a white murder case notes the execution of two enslaved men for Mrs Garber and Mrs Rein's killings after a whiskey plan.
