Young thief Harry Shafner sent to Lyman School for Boys
Lynn, April 10. Harry Shafner, a thirteen year old known as the city's “bad boy,” is to be sent to the Lyman School for Boys after a string of petty crimes culminating in a front seat theatre robbery of envelopes containing over $50 from Principal Emerson’s coat room at the school. Officers found him with the money. a court session followed with a ruling to remove him from Lynn for several years. He showed no denial of the charge and had support from his teacher who described him as bright and obliging despite dangerous impulses.
