Providence horse dealer robbed in Montreal attack

H. S. Remington of Providence Rhode Island arrived in Montreal and while heading to a hotel was struck from behind and robbed of 2800 dollars kept in a belt under his shirt. He was treated for injuries and his condition is listed as critical. The assailant reportedly used a sand bag and is described as familiar with Remington affairs.
