Chimney Collapse Sparks Evacuation at Local School

The chimney fell blocking exits from the upper part of the school and damaged a room. Firefighters and ambulances arrived promptly, children were lowered by ladders, and all except the Laburtis child are not expected to die.

Carelessness blamed for fatal Roslindale crash

A service car towing a second vehicle uncoupled on a steep grade at Roslindale noon yesterday causing a head on collision. One person was killed and ten were injured. Continued on Page 5 First Column.
