Rivals at the Globe Theatre Praised by Critics
Review notes Sheridan’s The Rivals at the Globe with Jefferson Florence Drew Allen delivering strong performances. Jefferson delights as Bob Acres though the role misaligns with the author’s intent. Florence’s Sir Lucius praised as a tour de force, while Drew’s Mala prop impresses but overacts at times. Allen shines most, especially in Beverly scenes.
