At Worcester the New England Methodist Conference debated domestic missions urging sympathy for small societies and caution against debt in church building. Camp meetings on Sunday faced strong division with a final vote against Sabbath camp meetings. Memorial services honored four aging members and the Domestic Missionary Society reported a 1000 dollar annual collection. The Freemen's Aid Society also marked its eleventh anniversary with addresses.
