Fast Day Observances Draw Boston’s Religious and Civic Activities

On April 7 the Commonwealth marks a Fast Day with varied observances. Rev. J. M. Manning preaches at Old South on The Commonwealth and the Bible, while Tremont Temple hosts an union prayer meet and Bowdoin Street Choir performs.
