Hartford citizens report a favorable plan to build a 180 mile rail line from Newburgh New York to Hartford Providence Springfield and Boston with estimated cost 5 760 000 and a projected nine percent return. Other projects include a Pennsylvania coal region line and a New London Willimantic extension with hundreds of thousands in stock subscriptions.
