Despatches from the volcanic district in Inyo county report continued shocks after the Tuesday quake. Central and northern California felt only slight tremors. Cerro Gordo suffered heavy damage with multiple buildings destroyed and a man killed. Lone Pine appears near the epicenter with fatalities among the dead.
