Maine Whigs Learn Parson Brownlow Opposes Jones

Parson Brownlow of Tennessee says he will not support James C. Jones for vice president. A Boston hunter reportedly shot two moose at Moosehead Lake Maine one struck through the jugular and one in the forehead. The Ban gor Whig calls this claim into doubt. Indians kill many game for skins. Horatio Seymour’s moose shot in New York woods stands six feet six inches at the shoulder and seven feet long.
