A 73 year old farmer and his 66 year old wife were attacked by a masked burglar who struck the husband unconscious and shot the wife, who lay dead beside a Bible. The house was ransacked but valuables left, including two checks totaling 82 275 and 275 dollars. The husband survived but is severely wounded. police seek the killer.
