Crawfordsville Ind February 5 Walter Runyan on trial for the unlawful killing of Arlie Stull testified in his own defense at the Runyan home near Waynetown. Hazel Grenard, 11, testified that Stull told her Mrs Runyan asked him to help when she found a letter in Walter Runyan coat. Mrs Runyan testified Stull caused trouble between her and Walter. The defense read grand jury testimony of Samuel M Hayes who died earlier in the trial. The case included testimony by Mrs Folith Ruggins and parents of Artie Stull. Continued on Page Five.
