Charges Against Berets Dismissed

Seven of eight U S Special Forces men cleared of murder charges flew home from Bien Hoa to Travis Air Force Base aboard a Seaboard World Airlines jet. The group included Rheault and former commander of the 5th Special Forces Group Sfc Alvin Smith did not Board. The men were released by order of Army Secretary Stanley R Resor after confinement at Long Binh.
