Albert Gale Dies After Illness In Fort Worth
Albert Gale died Saturday night at the home of Mrs. D. M. Lilly on West Sixth Street after two years as an invalid. He and his family had lived in Fort Worth and visited his sister Mrs. Lilly before his death. The funeral was held at 3 p.m. yesterday at the house, conducted by Rev. F. W. O Malley. Burial was in Willow Wild cemetery. Gale, born June 30, 1855 in Dallas County, Texas, was the son of Fleury and Elizabeth Gale and had worked in several firms before founding Gale Chaney Company. He married Ev McGee Hanech on July 12, 1893. they had a daughter, Mare now Mrs Foreman. He belonged to the Fire Christian church and was survived by his wife, daughter, a brother John Galt of San Antonio, and a sister Mrs Juhr Edward of Texarkana.
