Jerry M. Bennett 22 son of Mr and Mrs L M Bennett of 900 West 8th Street died in a New Jersey auto wreck near Somers Point. He served as seaman apprentice in the U S Coast Guard and was a 1953 Bonham high graduate who later studied at Texas Chiropractic College. Fellow traveler James T. Gross of Erie Pa also died in the crash. Survivors include his parents a brother Donald and grandfathers Lawrence Whitt and Richard Bennett.
