The Favorite publishes a correction policy promising to rectify any erroneous reflection on the character standing or reputation of any person, firm or corporation when brought to the publishers' attention.
The article praises D. A. Biard known as the peanut man for Bonham and Fannin County. It notes he has contacted nearby factories that say peanuts are worth 85 cents per bushel and in heavy demand. Biard argues peanut farming is profitable for farmers and merchants and urges local growers to expand peanut production to supply a Bonham factory similar to Paris.
A new railroad project from Kansas City toward the Gulf is under discussion and may pass Bonham Honey Grove or Paris. The Bonham merchants are urged to press for the line via the local Merchants League to promote its arrival.
Senator Foraker declares he has not quit the fight and defends his stance as reasonable and fair to all concerned.

Several Ladonia cases were heard with Simon Brown found guilty of perjury and sentenced to three years in the penitentiary. The Bonham City Council passed a resolution amending the city health code. The health inspector must clean and disinfect privies twice a month April to September and monthly otherwise, using at least one pound of approved disinfectant at each visit, at no city cost. He may charge dwellings thirty cents and businesses fifty cents per visit. Fees apply for privy inspections as well. R. B. Etroy, City Secretary.
A testimonial from J T H Pointer of Hempstead Texas praises Ballard’s Snow Liniment for rheumatic pains. He states it has been used in his household for years and is an excellent liniment. Sold by Saunders Drug Co and W A Spangler, mayor, are listed as sellers.
Henry Leftwick, described as a resident of Ladonia, was brought to town and jailed on a rape charge. The alleged victim is Ethie King, a fourteen year old girl from Ladonia.
The Bonham city council declares Stallion Bull and Jack nuisances if their braying or squealing disturbs residents in homes. Violators face up to 100 dollars fine with daily repeats counted as separate offenses. Effective after passage and publication. Approved by Mayor W. A. Spangler and City Secretary R. B. Elroy on September 9, 1907.
At about 8 o clock last night W A Thomas County Clerk issued a marriage license to W D Fitch and Miss Pearl Riddle. They were married in his office by Justice Wade Lipscomb. The couple reside at Allison J T and came to town by private conveyance to wed. They return to their territory home this morning.
Henry Stokes of East 4th Street was arrested yesterday morning and jailed on aggravated assault charges. His $350 bond had not been posted as of press time.
Haywood Lodge I O O F holds a regular meeting tonight at 8 oclock sharp to work in first degree. All members urged to attend and visitors cordially invited. J F King N G. Baseball fans urged to attend Honey Grove game this afternoon between Bonham Elks and Ladonia team. Both teams considered good.

A Fort Worth style letter from F W Dewe & Co notes a bank messenger lost a bag and warns about thieves. It mocks Devoe paint by stressing gallons over per gallon price and mentions Steger Lumber and Dr F C Allen plans to offer prizes for ad copy in the paper.
Mrs. Mary Hammond of Moody Texas says three bottles of Herbine cured her year long liver trouble after doctors failed. She praises the medicine as wonderful and says she keeps it in the house. Saunders Drug Co. sells it. Carey Murphy traveled to Windom yesterday. Bonham Poultry Association will meet at W T Smiths office Thursday at 8. All members urged to attend.

Alias execution from the County Court of Fannin directs the sheriff to sell October 1 1907 at the courthouse door in Bonham part of land near the Fannin Grayson line. The sale seeks $33688 and costs for the Fannin County National Bank versus G R Haley et al. with land described through Caney Creek and Piggs line.

An advertisement touts the Buster Brown Camera as reliable and inexpensive with films at 1.00 200 and 350. Separately the Woman's Home Mission Society of the First Methodist Church announces an ice cream and cake social on the church lawn Friday night.
O. L. Scott of Duffield Michigan recalls his father from Mason City Iowa falling ill with diarrhoea and cramps during a visit. He gave Chamberlain's Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy which cured him. The remedy is sold by J. W. Peeler.
A recruitment style notice urges agents and canvassers to write C Irvine & Co at 206 Ii Cherokee Ave McAlester I T for particulars. The copy promises a great opportunity and fortune for those who respond quickly, urging immediate action.
Favor ads claim White'n Cream Vermifuge has a worldwide reputation as a worm destroyer and tonic for weak children. It supposedly improves digestion, strengthens the nervous system, and restores health. Saunders Drug Co. sells the product.
