Bonham City OKs Health Inspector Disinfection Fee Plan

The Bonham City Council passed a resolution amending the city health code. The health inspector must clean and disinfect privies twice a month April to September and monthly otherwise, using at least one pound of approved disinfectant at each visit, at no city cost. He may charge dwellings thirty cents and businesses fifty cents per visit. Fees apply for privy inspections as well. R. B. Etroy, City Secretary.

Ladonia man charged with rape in case involving 14 year old girl

Henry Leftwick, described as a resident of Ladonia, was brought to town and jailed on a rape charge. The alleged victim is Ethie King, a fourteen year old girl from Ladonia.

Bonham City Bans Livestock Nuisance Within Limits

The Bonham city council declares Stallion Bull and Jack nuisances if their braying or squealing disturbs residents in homes. Violators face up to 100 dollars fine with daily repeats counted as separate offenses. Effective after passage and publication. Approved by Mayor W. A. Spangler and City Secretary R. B. Elroy on September 9, 1907.

At about 8 o clock last night W A Thomas County Clerk issued a marriage license to W D Fitch and Miss Pearl Riddle. They were married in his office by Justice Wade Lipscomb. The couple reside at Allison J T and came to town by private conveyance to wed. They return to their territory home this morning.
