Frank A. Spencer Sr 88 of 509 Becch Street died Tuesday November 22 1966 at M S Hospital Bonham. He served as Fannin County superintendent of schools from 1919 to 1924 later worked in real estate and insurance and was a longtime First Baptist deacon. Funeral at Wise Funeral Home Friday 10 am with Rev J I Gregory of Van Alstyne officiating. Burial Willow Wald Cemetery. He was born September 24 1878 in Mulberry and lived in Fannin County most of his life. Survivors include his widow three sons Frank Jr Glendon Ray and a brother Herman Spencer. two sisters Ina Woog Norma Jones. six grandchildren.
Weather forecast says Bonham area will stay unusually warm into the weekend with temperatures 10 to 16 degrees above normal. A cool front will reach the Panhandle Thursday then drift east but won’t cause big temperature drops, with highs in the 70s and 80s and possible light rain by weekend.
