Doctors at Wisconsin General Hospital fight a rare ailment called myocitis ossifans in 16 month old Delores Breska. The condition gradually hardens muscles and stiffens the neck back and arms as calcium deposits spread through the body.
Joe Russell West of Greenville is in Bonham today on business and to attend the football game. Mrs. Dave Starnes returned yesterday from a short visit in Fort Worth and went back with Mrs. Joe Cowley and Mrs. John Walker who had been visiting her.
The Bonham Municipal Band of about 30 members paraded the square this afternoon prior to the football game with Honsy Grove. The community praises the band and hopes residents will help fund uniforms for the group.
Amid ceremonies the China Clipper departs Alameda to begin Pan American Airs regular passenger and mail service to Hawaii and the Philippines. The sister ship Philippine Clipper leaves Miami to join transpacific service.
In Everett Washington principal Bar Trichel of Silver Lake grade school set Saturday as the deadline for three girls to take part in daily salute exercise or face expulsion. The girls refused to salute for religious reasons and their parents will confer with Trichel and County Superintendent C C Carpenter.
The Farm Administration plans to issue about 30 million dollars in price guarantee and other payments to cotton farmers with December 15 set to begin issuing checks. Government estimates show total costs below the original maximum as 5.8 million bales produced to Nov 14 will yield about 29.6 million dollars in adjustment payments. The plan follows a rise in spot cotton above 12 cents per pound and adjusts the loan terms from 12 to 10 cents.
Singapore dispatch reports renewed hopes of finding Sir Charles Kings trod Smith alive dimmed after planes failed to locate him on Sayer Island in Bengal Bay off Siam. Flares previously seen had revived belief he was alive, but search teams found no sign.
Dorland Sandlin and A E Eaves of Whitt Parker County were killed when their airplane crashed after takeoff from Breckenridge municipal airport. The plane, after gaining height while returning to the field, struck wood near the airport. Rescuers propped the wreckage aside to extract the mangled bodies. Sandlin was the son of Dr W S Sandlin of Whitt and Eaves was a relative from Arkansas living with the family.
The battleship Pennsylvania hosts five Cowdrey brothers from Virginia, Illinois, serving aboard as crew while a sixth brother, Orville, plans to enlist. Paul Burnem Harry Charlie and Manley Cowdrey are on board. Orville is a high school sophomore eyeing naval service on the same ship.
Hog production is said to be controlled, predicting another glut by 1938. Researchers C R Jaccard and E H Teagarden of Kansas State College made the forecast. Dr J A Lanius now works in the Peeler building with Dr Joan Ney3il, inviting friends to visit.
The Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers selected Fort Worth for the 1936 annual meeting over Mineral Wells by an 18 to 12 vote. Dallas delegation remains, with the twenty seventh annual session closing after afternoon meetings. Appointments announced include parliamentarian Mrs. H. B. Chamberlin Henderson and historians Mrs. H. F. Godke of Lubbock, plus numerous committee chairs across the state.
Lincoln Ellsworth was forced down at the Antarctic base for a second time this week as clouds prevented him from flying over the mountain peaks. He had hoped to span the range but weather halted the expedition and he returned to base.
Henry Louis Sutton 42 of Seminole Okla died in an oil field accident near Snomac. Funeral at Wise Funeral Home 1:30 pm with burial at Willow Wild Cemetery conducted by Rev S R Smith. Remains brought from overland to Bonham Thursday. Survived by wife six children and other relatives formerly lived near Lamasco Fannin County.

Turkey shipments from the Singleton farm near Waxahachie have distributed about 40 000 in the community this year. The farm’s dressing plant increased local income. Over eight carloads totaling 143 091 pounds were shipped for Thanksgiving with Christmas shipments set to begin around December 9.

A Wolfe City couple celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary at their son Marvin Runnion’s Greenville home on Sunday. I M Runnion also marked his sixty eighth birthday and their son’s thirty eighth. a dinner honored the family.

About 175 music minded citizens attended the Gibraltar hotel in Paris Texas for the Paris Civic Music Association’s one week campaign to organize memberships. The plan aims to bring to Paris concerts by nationally known artists with no single tickets and open only to members. Delegates from 200 nearby towns attended, joining Dallas Texarkana Marshall Waller Fort Worth and Wichita Falls in the national effort to provide home concerts.
