October collections of school taxes reached 74140.98 as reported by tax collector Ben H. Griffin to the board of trustees. Current and delinquent totals in the year stand at 75795.08 with penalties pushing the total to 76147.49. Delinquent collections amount to 1654.10, about 3.09 percent of the amounts due.
