Bonham Lt. Yarbrough Receives Air Medal for Burma-China Service
Lt. Leonard M. Yarbrough of Bonham has been awarded the Air Medal for more than 15 hours of transport flight over difficult Assam routes and dangerous terrain. He also wears the Distinguished Flying Cross Ribbon and a citation for duty with the Burma-China Air Transport Command. Born in Cisco, he joined in 1942 and has flown since 1943 with missions over India and the China theater, married since 1943, and is expected home soon.
