Dom and Tournament Night At Fetor High School Gym
The Fetor High sophomore Otis Cantrell sponsors a Thursday dom and tournament. Play begins at 7 pm in the school gym and continues until a champion is chosen. Piggyback Satellite Set For Next Month Launch
The Air Force will orbit a secret experiment next month using a 300 pound piggyback satellite named OV-1 aboard an Atlas missile from Vandenberg AFB California. The satellite has its own propulsion and will separate near space then be orbited by its own rocket while the Atlas continues a separate re entry mission to a Pacific target area.

Bonham Officials Approve Small Grants For City Projects
The city commission approved purchases and donations totaling several hundred dollars for street work and community events. Funds included 2408 ostron pine for street projects, 505 donation to a youth prize fund, and 350 from Bonham Manufacturing Co for November rent.

$100 Fine Levied On Defendant for Driving While Intoxicated
A plea of guilty to a complaint alleging driving while intoxicated resulted in a $100 fine and a three day jail sentence. The license remains suspended for six months. County Judge Chor Moore assessed the fine against Lowtail Hart, with Highway Patrolman Dwayne Ox filing the complaint.
