Driver Injured In One Car Mishap Near Windom
Harold Lee Smedley 39 of Mt. Ida Ark suffered cuts to the head and bruises in a single car crash between Dodd City and Windom early Thursday morning. Patrolman Jake Jackson said Smedley, driving from Mt. Ida to Sherman, apparently dozed at the wheel, veered off road 0. 5. 82, and jumped Texas and Pacific tracks. Smedley walked to Windom, was picked up by an ambulance, treated at Bunham hospital, and released after first aid.

A Titan 3C rocket tested a new heat shield then launched four satellites in a two stage mission.
